Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Chance your arm and ask for that price by e-mail. pry won't work since they'll have special offer written somewhere but its surely worth the risk

I have already have 2 pairs of wheels so I'm good for now.

If anyone wants a copy of the email I can forward it if you PM me. I doubt you'll get to far though, I ordered a rain jacket two weeks which they don't have in stock (and not shown to be out of stock) and will take another few weeks to arrive and they won't even give me free shipping for the inconvenience. Stingy....

You could threaten to contact the advertising standards authority or whatever.

It's a typo; they have no obligation to honour a typo in an ad.

Turns out it wasn't a typo, just an honest mistake by chakattack.

Also crap, I thought they did, just found out they don't unless they have a no quibble policy or a price you see policy. On the plus side my flatmate argued so convincingly on this that he got an X-box 360 almost half price. Lucky the manager wasn't as well versed in the law.

    No honest mistake!

The email in my inbox says £84. FACT.

I'll get a screen print later or we can settle this difference of opinion with a race :D

This is my first post in the cycling forum...wish me luck. Been lurking for a while now so 'bout time I came out from behind the bike shed :p

Might be a post for the 'leave the credit card at home' thread...how and ever..

Think you need a UK address for this, but you could try emailing them.

This jeantex stuff seems well designed. I bought the Parma shorts and they are preeetttty good. I think they are a bit small fitting, at least I erred on the side of big, I a medium in castelli, but jeantex large are a similar fit.

The sellers Foxster.co.uk, are selling on ebay too, but again only to uk addresses, Says on their website that the special offers are only available while they are getting their own website sorted.

The images are hosted on Rutland's website so it is possible that they sent it out wrong but corrected it on their website. chakattack could have read the email before they corrected it and have the old image in his cache.

    @ bcmf

When I click through the price is 439. I wonder if some early bird somewhere got a pair for 84 before they corrected it.
