intermittent access?

is there a site-wide problem today? for the last few hours i've had on and off problems accessing different fora and teh homepage "internet explorer cannot...." comes up at other times its working perfectly i've been accessing other websites without any problem, so i dont think its at my end

Yeah, there appears to be some sort of problem at the moment, other posters have reported it in Feedback and I'm having major problems myself. No idea what the cause is yet, I'm sure Ross and Conor are onto it though. We'll let everyone know what the story is as soon as we know more.
