Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry if this is the wrong place.

I was just wondering if bars like Nutri Grain, the Kellogs bar (the one that Rob Kearney promotes) and Nature Valley bars are actually healthy for you?

    Thanks.

He may well promote them, but you can bet your ass he doesn't eat that rubbish.

Not in the slightest. They're on the same level as a mars or snickers on the scale of good food. Avoid unless you're looking for a desert.

What sort of snacks should I be looking to eat during the day so? (I eat a good bit of fruit already)

Read the ingredients. Sugar, honey, brown sugar syrup and corn flour, all crappy carbs you don't want in your diet.

Almost none of the packaged bars are in anyway good food.

I eat nuts like cashews, walnuts or macademia nuts which are unsalted during the day

The cereal bars look very appealing but check to see sugar or fat content in them before you purchase.

No food is unhealthy taken in the context of your whole diet. They do have a lot of sugar for the size of them and how much they'll fill you but if the rest of your diet is good then it's no big deal.
