Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Repairs to a Canon Powershot

    I've a Canon Powershot G9 that I'm completely in love with... however on a trip to Edinburgh the front lens glass got a small scratch. It doesn't cause problems except when shooting towards a light source like the sun (or the moon). How much am I looking at to have to do this, and can anyone recommend somewhere in Dublin to do it?

    Canon are probably the only people who can supply a replacement lens. I hate to say it, but the cost of having it replaced might end up being as much as a used G9 in good condition.
