Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I love watching Giles & Dunphy, mightn't agree with everything they say but love watching them.

Lived abroad for a few years and WC & EC weren't the same without them.

Love all the quotes and vids here. Here's my two cents worth which I enjoyed.

Did Souness decide not to go back to RTE? Cos if he did, i'd say this is what made his decision!!

Just had to laugh at Dunphy snapping at Bill last night....

"Eh, I'm the one doing the analysis Bill....."

    Dunphy during Euro 2008:

"Aragones took off Torres, Xavi and Iniesta and he put on three donkeys"

He is then informed that Cesc Fabregas came on as a sub in that game

"I mean Fabregas and two donkeys"

In fairness I think the lads were right there and Souness actually didn't know what he was talking about.

I love that look he gives Dunphy though when he tells him he doesn't know what he's talking about. He wanted to stick the nut in on him right then I'd say.

"I managed to stay alive for sixty three and a half years baby." Best come back to an arguement of all time.

Giles; "Ronaldo in my day, would not have been tolerated. In my day, you did the simple things, you got the ball, you passed it to your team mate & you scored, no fancy tricks, not like yer man.. ehm, who are we talking about again?"

    Bill: "Ronaldo"

    Giles: "Oh yeah, him"

Eamon: "Ronaldo is naaawt world class"

Bill: "But why is that Eamon, is it because he's too fancy in his approach to the game?"

Eamonn: "No Bill, naaawh, it's because his face looks like the end of a snack box after you've eaten all the chicken, baby."

Bill: "Okey Dokey, that's all we've time for folks. Goodnight & God Bless".
