    Hiya

Would anyone have any idea roughly how far it is from one car park to
the other at either end of this park? Checked the info board at the entrance and online maps, but none have a distance key. From google maps it looks like roughly 2k each way. Anyone have any idea?

    Cheers

    Max :)

What car park at the end do you mean? if you're trying to gauge it for walking/running specific distances you'd be better off getting some kind of pedometer

its at least 2k but it depends where you define the end of route .. it goes on for nearly another 1K after you reach the end of gravel track, along by the river but its more of a mud track ..

Think they are talking about coming all the way to the GAA club and the town end of the walk

Ya I'd say 3-4k from the car park in regional to the gun powder mills area.

Was running through there last night....man there's some maze of tracks through the trees in there...you really have to keep your eyes on the track to avoid the tree roots :D
