Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Atletico recent form is complete dogsh!t to say the least.

However, they are the only team to beat Barcelona in the league this season.

    2-3 for me.

I just hate this commentator so much. His pronunciation of names ending in ez or even es is the most annoying thing ive ever heard.

    Rafa Bonitays.
    Fernando Torrays.
    Maxi Rodrigays.
    Carlos Tevays.
    Dominguays.

My word, Reyes has really declined since we saw him at Arsenal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Absolutely horrendous defending, particularly from Carragher.

Give him some credit. He's seems to have learnt how to say 'Kuyt'....he used to always say 'Coyt'!

    Cock. Stupid goal.

**** all round there, shouldn't have let the cross in, and Soto/Reina should have done better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Great play from Johnsen, Yossi needed to do better.

    Ugh, worst possible start.

What? Are you watching what I'm watching? It was Kyriakos with the crap marking and non existant defending.

This is the same stuff being thrown at Carra all season. He was out trying to block the cross and still ended up the closest player to clearing the ball before it went it. He's being way too overstretched trying to cover other playrs crap defending.

He at least made an effort ,

While Glen Johnson looked on and Forlan had a second bite at the cherry .

Typical Carragher , messes up trying to stop the ball crossing the line and then looses the plot at the other defenders! He also did not block the cross!

Im guessing he blamed Carragher for that pathetic bicycle clearance attempt.

He shouldnt have been anywhere near it to be trying to clear it. He was the only one bothering his hole.

Sigh, Johnson was out of position. Kyriakos had left Forlan all alone. Reina was slow off his line.

But if Carragher comes out there, he absolutely CANNOT ALLOW THE BALL TO GET INTO THE MIDDLE PAST HIM.

    Anyway, everyone has started poorly.

He has ever reason to be moanign at them, Forlan was standing in he box on his own ad took his sweet ass time arseign it up before gettign his shot off. Where was the player marking him? Kyriakos ended up further away than Carra.

This constant clueless Carra bashing is Ronnie Whelan-esque.

So to summarise: Carra tryign to be al over the pitch coverign everyone, but it's Carra's fault?

It was a handy enough cross to defend, should have been a standard clearance.

Super ****ing ball from Lucas, would prefer Gerrard to make the keeper work there, but it was on his weaker foot. Argh.
