Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm buying a new bike soon and was thinking of getting some aftermarket fairings on ebay. I can get them from China for about 500 or from Hong Kong for about 300. Does anybody have any experiece with this? I remember reading about some people buying kits for the CBR 250 and having a few minor problems. They come pre-drilled, but some of the holes didn't match up exactly.

Don't expect them to fit on without any work.

Yeah, heard you have to do a little work to get them to fit... but supposedly they only last about 1.5 years or something - then they start to flake - they dont like sunshine either supposedly... Get the ABS ones also, they're less likely to crack...

When you say "a little work to get them to fit", are we talking about drilling a few holes?

all depends, heard of lads drilling, putting new 'makeshift' hangers to just needing a little pressure to fit... few threads on biker.ie about it..
