Funny, I don't miss any sweet or foods. There'll always be something the same or better, for instance, Red Bull Cola was taken off the market, but then I found another one that tastes the same, and I wasn't even trying. I don't miss any childhood foods, always thought the sweets were a bit shite.

Same as above I don't miss the food stuff but by Christ I'd love my old copy of Ann and Barry

I have a request for after hours. I'm looking for somewhere in Dublin that sells M&M's Cookie Ice cream. They were a pair of cookies, full of M&Ms, with ice cream in the middle. Like an iceberger for the obese.

Does anywhere still sell them? I've been looking for ages and no luck :(

In that spirit, what do you miss that you can't get anymore? I love rhubarb and custards, the soft sweets, not boiled, but I can't get them anywhere and the odd time I find them, haribo don't use 'evil' colours and flavourings anymore, so they aren't bright happy sweets, they're the colour of vomit/slime. Damn nanny sweet companies, sweets are bad for you, stop trying to make them slightly less bad for some kids with bad parents who think their kids have ADD

used to get these in an esso garage in Alicante if its any help.....

    MASSIVE

oh i'd love some purple calpol *drools* not sure if i got it right but the smell of red bull reminds me of it.

I do miss being able to get big bags of penny sweets. my grannys shop used to have them. but then I used to steal a few here and there anyway :o ssshhh don't tell her!

don't really remember much else. i think one thing you don't see much any more is the little cans of coke. now my grannys shop has them but don't remember seeing them anywhere else... dunno how many mls but they're perfect if you just want a taster.
    I still can't get a bloody M&M cookie ice cream :(

I've seen this around. though it's probably been in limerick. definitely seen it though. hmmm. i'll keep an eye out around dublin for you. actually it'll probably become my mission for the next few days
