i like it. bottom right corner looks dirty or something. but you still get a sense of movement in it. perhaps......dare i say is a small vignette on it

It's been pointed out to me by one of the boards members that the image posted by Neasha was infact taken a year ago in 2009 and thus should be disqualified from the assignment.

I have to agree with this after looking at the EXIF info below. Unless of course, not only his Nikon camera, but also his computer where he processed it were out of date by a year. It's hardly likely.



Or maybe he forgot to set the date back after traveling to the other side of the solar system, that right Pete?

Correct. It was taken on the above the above date in 2009. I purposely withdrew myself in my original post by stating it was taken two days late. I wanted to take part without competing.

I disqualified myself from the moment I submitted. On purpose I put in a date that was after the deadline. I wanted to submit a image but did not want to interfere with anyone who honestly took there images this week.

You caught me out in a way. But in another I was never in - in the first place.

I used a technique suggested on here only yesterday in the sharpening thread learning as I go. I liked it in colour, but this version is even nicer, in my own humble opinion.
