    Hi

I looking for internal doors for an extension I'm building
The issue is that they need to be extra wide to accommodate a wheelchair aprox 920cm
The best in can do at present are fire doors which are much to heavy
Do anyone know where i may be able to get some

    Thanks in advance

Any of the joinerys can't be too busy right now. I'd consider pricing some of them if I were you.

I got some specials on a set of stairs recently at no extra cost, just some beautiful detailing and some one off spindles after I convinced the lads they needed to excercise all their equipment :). Two years ago I would have been told where to go with a request like that.

The beauty of using a joinery direct is you can also get the finish you want straight from the factory, so to speak. They can make up the full doorsets complete for you as well.

    I don't own a joinery btw....:D

Buy a 30min fire blank and put a molding on it I bet you will not notice how heavy it is

would a 2'10" (865mm) door not let you away in this situation.
these sizes are readily available in any pattern from a lightweight regency door to a solid engineered door.
