problem with Acekard 2i

Just got my acekard 2i yesterday, have loaded it with the most recent files but it will not work with the newest games but yet some olders games work. Have tried this with a nds, nds lite and a dsi but no joy.

Anyone any ideas?

Download Akaio 1.6 loader and they should work fine on it

will this card or an EZFlash Vi work on a dsi XL? what firmware comes loaded on a XL?

The Acekard 2i works a treat on the Xl. You have to flash the card with special software ( Danny Phantom 1.4 update )on it on a ds/dsi console first to get it to work on the XL

I dont have one myself but i read somewhere that both the older 705 and the newer 805 model work but the older model has some freezing issues. I think the Ez Vi needs to be flashed to work with the 1.4 Dsi much the same way as the Acekard 2i..

Hi,

I have downloaded AKAIO V 1.8.1 from http://www.acekard.com/download.php installed it on an 8gb SDHC card etc but it won't work on a new DSi with Firmware V1.4e. I just get an error which says "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details."

I've looked everywhere and can't find a solution.

Help please!!!

Are you using a new Acekard or are you just upgrading the Akaio firmware. I had a problem when i was using izarc instead of winrar to extract the required files and put them on the micro sd card from the download. If it is a new card it might need to be flashed on another dsl or dsi in order to run on 1.4ie before you put in your Dsi.

Got a DSi 1.4e working with Acekard2i and Akaio using this handy post from Touching Virus.

Just in case your Dsi is on Nintendos latest firmware or it gets upgraded, here is the info for setting up the Acekard to work on the latest software. It changes from Danny phantom to Alex Rider Stormbreaker. Working a treat for me on the DSi XL

Worked for me thanks, was tearing my hair out for 2 hours last night trying to set it up but this was very clear in what to do:-)
