Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone notice the decline in quality of River Island clothes? Was away for a year and when I came back I noticed how cheaper in price their clothes had got. Also noticed how quickly they shrunk or went out of shape. I remember buying their clothes a few years ago and they lasted for ages.Cos us lads wear the same clothes for alot longer (well i do anyway), it really shows where quality come into play.

Tbh most of the stuff for men in the high street shops is nasty. You just have to pick out the few nice pieces that they come up with.

I think in general the stock in river Island has declined, The quality of
their clothing is not fantastic and you generally get limited wear out of them.

Yes and no. Yes it's pretty nasty but no you shouldn't cherrypick. It's time to move away from the highstreet and search for something better. Vote with your feet.
Online or in mens outfitters there has to be something better in both quality and in style then what the highstreet shops offer.

When I go into RiverIsland I pick out the best 3 items they have available. Then I have a good look and realize that I'm only picking the least offensive items rather then stuff I really want.

It's not just RiverIsland, nor is it just mens shops. I was in Monsoon recently. I used to really like their stuff, it used to be innovative, fresh, original. Now it's just fluff. In the 10 minutes I was wandering around I found a scarf that appealed. A plain white scarf. Found then in M&S for a much better price.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
