Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trades professionals in the Ballinamore area

Hi, am currently looking to put right a thousand odd things (windows, roof, floors, wall – you name it!) in our little cottage near Ballinamore. We are new to the area and while people in general are kindness itself, we are having problems finding the kind of professionals we need for getting the house fixed.

Any recommendations or experiences would be much appreciated in terms of either plumbers, electricians, roofers, plasterers, or companies or individuals who offer a renovation package. If someone has had a good experience with any of the above in the Ballinamore area I would love to hear from you.

The most urgent job we need to have done is actually double glazing and although I have seen a couple of threads on here with some useful and interesting posts, they tend to focus on the Dublin area, and I am supposing that it would be difficult or very expensive to get them to come out here for estimates and the job itself.

    Thanks!
