    My first handheld was a ds so i trade using wifi. Since then ive picked up a game boy colour, and advance. While i have some Gen 1 and 2 games, i dont play them as they were remade, and pokemon can be traded to more Gen 4 from those remade games.

    I do, but only if I want all the starters or version exclusives. You're more than welcome to bring along some Gameboys and link cables to the next meet-up though :)

    I've got Silver and Crystal, link cables for 2nd and 3rd Gen games, Game Boy colour and a GBA. There ain't no Gen I can't communicate with!
