Hi all,, Since about a month ago ive been getting red dots on my legs the morning after drinking beer. It only seems to happen when i drink a lot in the one nite. And also i dont get it when i drink vodka.

Could it be that i am allergic to beer?
Can anyone shed some light on this for me??

You could have a wheat allergy.

    Recommended treatment: vodka bath.

Well you asked in the right place, since it turns out that most of the members on After Hours are actually very reputable doctors.

dont know about red dots, but I've seen plenty of people with red faces, I think they called that being jaundiced ( or maybe thats when the face is yellow ) and usually has a lot to do with drinking an excessive amount of alcohol.

    how often do you drink?

That sounds like SARS. You should get that checked out. Or AIDS. Or SuperAIDS. Or teh ghey.

Here's an idea. Stop drinking so much, and get checked out by a doctor. A real doctor. Not AH. AH is where the quacks hang out. :D

    *NNNNEEERRRRRRRRRRRR8 Wrong answer.

The red face is not jaundice, thats when you go yellow, liver not functioning right.

The red face is usually acne rosatia. Thread veins and blotchiness, due to whatever in alcohol does it.

*I'm not a doctor, but thats right. Seriously. Check it out.*

I think OP that you should google it, and if you cant find anyone in the same boat as you, it could well be worth the money to give ripleys believe it or not a ring. :)

Get down to your doctor, and let him/her take a look at you.

    Or have an old prayer?

Well if the op is Christian then the following short story would be a lesson on how NOT to pray

Old man is on his knees praying.

Young boy runs up to him and shouts ''Hey dude, your beards on fire''

Old Man: ''I know, but cant you see I'm praying for rain?''

Boards cannot give medical advice, see a GP.
I'm gonna leave this open for the lulz, just don't use any advice given in After Hours ok?

I know red spots with tiny web like veins on your chest together with very red palms are a symptom of Liver disease but I don't know about them showing up on your legs... you should really consider seeing your GP and not drinking until after that.
