    Does Skype on 3 work the same as normal Skype or have the curtailed it. Question is; Can you send Skype texts and use Skype out to make phone calls at Skype rates?

    Skype texts yes (to Skype users), Skype out nope.
    On three Skype you can only call/text other Skype users.

    The 3 website says

    Call Phones Abroad: you can now use Skype on your 3 Mobile to call friends and family abroad, even if they don’t use Skype. Whether you’re calling an overseas landline or mobile, you’ll only be charged Skype’s great low rates.

    The Skype website says this service is only available in UK. :confused:

    You can't skype irish phone numbers but you can call anywhere else in the world using your skype credit.
