I was just floating around and I saw this thread and wanted to get in touch. I have read a few posts and see that you guys like to meet up from time to time. Do you guys play TCG, B/W or both?

I ask because I organize Pokemon events with PMP (Youtube Channel) as AAmazing0 (my youtube channel) and just held one there last week at ArcadeCon. I really should have advertised these events here rather than online. But just wanted to get your guys feedback and hopefully organize a meet up.

I still use my Pokéwalker, mostly because it's the only pedometer I have. Plus, the Umbreon I've had in and out of there for the last year and a half is now level 89, and I haven't trained it outside the walker since it was level 23

I'll happily meet up and play B/W, but I don't go to cons.

I kinda figured people had moved on to 5th gen, but after being spoiled by seeing my pokes follow me around in HGSS it's hard to go back to the loneliness of Unova :O

On topic; Does anybody play Super Pokemon Rumble? I got it for my birthday but barely made a dent in the story, it would be pretty cool to play co-op(if thats even possible?:P)

Because I'm not big into anime, really. Pokémon, Death Note, Afro Samurai; that's really it. And I don't care enough to pay €20 for what I'd do; go for battling and the possible Brony panels. I know those particular Bronies quite well and see them otherwise, and I can battle online if I need to. I don't see why I'd pay for the privilege :P

Plus, I quite dislike some of the 'popular' animes, like Bleach, DBZ, any of that. So there's very little else I'd get out of the experience, beyond the opportunity to look down on furries :P (I joke).

Now if something like BronyCon showed up, I'd be there in ten seconds flat...

Yea think it will have to, as even I am returning to education from an eight year absence at this stage. But league will have to cost 3 dollar if we play after 6pm so i was thinking of making it between 6 and 8 depending on what the shop says and that way everyone gets a booster too.

They should be getting some in when Dragons Exalted is released.

Also I posted somewhere else that they are getting in new products for us, which I think are going to be Zek/Reshi figure boxes: plastic figurine and four boosters

would you not move it to saturday, at the same time as tuesday?
ninja edit: i can probably make it the occasional sunday, if it is on sunday. the under fifteen training for me is saturday not sunday.

Speaking of that, apparently despite me having done the LC six years ago, I was given the extra 25 bonus points for Higher Maths. Takes my total from 440 to 465 - although looking at the points lists, that may have helped me get an offer this round :eek:

Looking at my course (Environmental Science & Health in DCU), it's gone up from 355 in 2007, to 380 last year, to like 420 this year. I got 385 5 years ago, and I'm going into an M.Sc. in October.

Points system is bloody stupid yo. What we need is those aptitude tests they promised years ago. Otherwise we'll just end up with more doctors and lawyers with the ability to memorize loads of ****e, but no actual skill in the area.

Lads, we have to make next week class. If someone would buy the full box of blisters in tesco, and sell individual packs for cheap, great. as well, We need some sort of small tournament for the league. lets say we get 16 players. 16-8-4-2-1 winner gets a few blisters (if anyone will supply these) or a tin. Also, one for the video games, as in the same thing. 16-8-4-2-1. winner gets cards.
Also, will gamers world be selling booster boxes?

Good fun there this week lads : D Next meet up will be Tuesday again, but now it's between 6PM - 9PM, same place, same day

Also, now we will be reverting to the old system(apparently) a fiver to play, and you get a booster pack. Gamersworld charge 3 quid a head to play after 6 anyway, so we're getting a booster for 2 squid each, not bad at all :P

I also thought it a bit funny, the chap in gamersworld said to us before they got the dragons exalted in, they were worried they wouldn't sell enough to justify buying them. Cobsisering between us we spent about 160 euro on cards in less than 3 hours, fears assuaged

Don't forget, while not an exclusively a Pokémon meet up, on Saturday there is a meet up in town happening for people with a 3DS with maybe a Mario Kart 7 tourney depending on numbers.
