Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

aye, it's really frustrating at this point. If he was an actual flop that would be one thing, we could just resign him to the bench and offload, but he's looked one of our best players whenever he's played...

He has had some good games and spells but some of the time he has looked downright awful. I am not having a dig because I have seen enough to know he has great vision and is technically gifted. It still doesn't change the fact he has looked woefully off the pace at times but I fully expected that given his injury problems and having to adjust to a new country and the pace of the game in the premiership.

One thing that did worry me was he seemed to have an attitude from a couple of things like complaining about a bad pass or asking the Ref to card a player. Also because I have so much interest I tend to watch him much more closely than most people on the pitch and he definitely at times does not work hard enough when we lose the ball for Rafa to be happy.

as a liverpool fan i've watched a very good team struggle all season, and burnley have had some amazing games, but we beat them 4-0 already this year so im hoping liverpool can do it!

    Good stop Pepe.

Aquilani looks rusty. Him playing the hole instead of Gerrard clearly shows that Rafa doesnt trust him in the deeper position. If that was the case you wonder why he bought him considering Alonso played deep.

Woop Woop forced into the change I wanted to see.

Kuyt for Benayoun and Babel goes down the centre.

The amount of times we lose possession when kuyt recieves the ball is unreal. (and not just today but over a whole season).

Maybe keep it more now that he is away off

Stevie needs to knock up more 16yr olds if its going to get him scoring like this

aqua looks knackered, seemed fairly innocuous from first viewing too.

Refreshing to have a 'footballer' on the pitch in and around gerrard who has ability on the ball. Changes the whole dynamics of the team, gives the opposition more to think about and in turn gives the other attackers more room.

    Come on Dani.

The difference having Babel up front has been immense. The amount of balls that have been knocked up front that he has been able to compete for and knock back or control and play back is just something neither Kuyt or Ngog can offer. Whatever about the rest of his play he has the physical presence to play the lone striker role.

There was a bit of a clash of legs (aqui's right knee) and he went down and stayed down, looking in pain. Got up again though and seems ok.

If only pool had beaten fulham two weeks ago they would still be in race for fourth , that was such a crucial game..

if only a beachball hadnt scored against us etc etc.

you cant look at football like that imo, you'll drive yourself mental! :P

That final goal could yet prove important...

What an awful finish. Jesus, you expect him to sit the keeper on his bottom and round him from there really.

Ah well, GD has had a boost anyway.

    BABEL TIME :D

Offside but still a nice ball by Lucas.

    Finish very unconvincing.

4-0 does the GD no harm

Good experience for Daniel to get another 90 minutes and nice to see Pacheco get ten minutes.

Table makes for depressing reading. Were still in 7th, but the one positive is that we have now have the best goal difference of the 4th place contenders.

    1 Chelsea 36 57 80
    2 Man Utd 36 53 79
    3 Arsenal 36 39 72
    4 Tottenham 35 26 64
    5 Aston Villa 36 16 64
    6 Man City 35 27 63
    7 Liverpool 36 28 62
