Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Question about upgrading Eircom Broadband

Hi guys, The house I'm currently in has 3meg broadband from eircom, however this can be really slow and as low as 0.9 megs alot of the time. Could this be a router problem maybe? If I was to upgrade to 7megs from eircom is it just a matter of phoning them up or would they need to install anything extra?

I suggest you ask a mod to repost this in the "Broadband" forum in the "Tech" section.

But basically, the distance you are from the telephone exchange has a major bearing on the quality and speed of your broadband. I'm almost 5km from the exchange here and although 3Meg is available, I dont get anything like that....
