Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whatever about the sending off being a bit harsh, Motta should get a 5-6 match ban for his stupid reaction after getting sent off, it was disgraceful.

Never is it acceptable regardless of the guy milking it.

Its basically just asking for trouble.

    Players are aware of this.

    Get over it.

It's called holding them off, maybe was a bit high but wouldn't even be a free in any decent league.

How about the evidence of the past 2 seasons?

What about Busquets though? You would think he was shot twice. First for the innocuous foul and then when Motta put his hands on his back. Disgraceful.

I'm praying these Inter cheats go out. A disgrace to football, like all Mourinho teams.

Should be an interesting second half anyway.

Look at the pressure Ibrahimovich and Pablo put Schneider under there, forcing him to just whack the ball away anywhere. Barca are really hungry and up for this. For the pressure they have exerted, they simply must score before half time!!

I nearly died laughing when I read this.

I'm starting to think Ibra really is Barca's weak link. Hopefully he lights up in the second half.

He's been very VERY bad tonight, me thinks he is choking a bit facing his former club in the semi's with so much at stake.

Also, LOL @ at the people shouting at the injustice against Inter. Busquets acts the c*nt, we all know that, but I haven't seen one person complain about Maicon 'hurting' his shoulder behind goal, realising the game can go on as he's off the pitch, walk onto the pitch, and then fall into a heap on the floor so that the game actually would stop. Just as c*ntish, also, no sympathy for Motta, Busquets is basically his protege, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Barca should win, but it'll be too late. Inter earned the right to play negatively in the 2nd leg, and are executing their game plan perfectly. If Ibra doesn't stop breaking up play then Henry/ Bojan needs to come on. Also, Messi looks so much more dangers on the right cutting in then he does running from deep, Cambiasso is doing a good job on him when he plays off the frontline.

Alves can change this game, he's not being picked up at all.

He got a straight red for that I think he would of had a good case to get it recinded but his reaction means he should get another few matches added on you just can't do that even if he cheated you

It happens all the time in modern football and Motta should not have put his hands on him after being sent off, I am very much against play acting and feigning injury but Motta's reaction was stupid and he deserves a long ban for it.

According to the rule the ref HAS to use discretion.

When playing myself I've by total accident put my hand in someones face. not to get an advantage and not disadvantaging them in any way from winning the ball etc as it has only brushed them but guess what they didnt curl up in a ball like a bitch.
Even if they had they should have gotten a yellow for diving when not hurt. Why should I get a red? I didnt do it on purpose, it didnt disadvantage or hurt the opponent in any way.

I really dont get this at all
(the ref can exercise discretion for those of you who say hand overchin=red!)

Rofl, what a fcuking retarded thing to say. So they are overrated because 'you are only as good as your last 45 minutes'. Does that mean Chelsea are the best team in the world this week because they won 7-0, and Atletico Madrid are better than Liverpool because they are 1-0 up against them in their semi?

Maxwell will take better advantage of their opportunities down the left.

Yeah if he actually put the ball in the fucking box instead of cutting to his right foot....then his left....then his right....then losing it.

This is very true. Maicon's effort was horrible as well. Pretty much every team at this level has at least one or two scumbags. It's a cancer on the sport.
