Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I nearly died laughing when I read this.

He's been very VERY bad tonight, me thinks he is choking a bit facing his former club in the semi's with so much at stake.

Also, LOL @ at the people shouting at the injustice against Inter. Busquets acts the c*nt, we all know that, but I haven't seen one person complain about Maicon 'hurting' his shoulder behind goal, realising the game can go on as he's off the pitch, walk onto the pitch, and then fall into a heap on the floor so that the game actually would stop. Just as c*ntish, also, no sympathy for Motta, Busquets is basically his protege, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Barca should win, but it'll be too late. Inter earned the right to play negatively in the 2nd leg, and are executing their game plan perfectly. If Ibra doesn't stop breaking up play then Henry/ Bojan needs to come on. Also, Messi looks so much more dangers on the right cutting in then he does running from deep, Cambiasso is doing a good job on him when he plays off the frontline.

Alves can change this game, he's not being picked up at all.

Maicon's carry on was pathetic alright, but you can't seriously expect a bit of time wasting to provoke the same level of outrage as getting someone sent off in CL semi final.

WTF is the ref at. The ball just went out of play and he is warning the keeper for timewasting, instantly

Predo and alves have been barca's best players so far, nothing to write home about stuff but still

Barca looking desperate with all these long range efforts.

For all the possession they are offering nothing up front.

I hope Inter wins just for this. Disgraceful.

Yeah if he actually put the ball in the fucking box instead of cutting to his right foot....then his left....then his right....then losing it.

yeah he's not the best. Better option going forward than Milito though, i would think.

One thing I particularly hate about RTE:

Danger Here: "On this evidence, an expensive Swedish Flop".

And it isn't just him - they'll all be at it after the break.

Do you think Italian commentators over in Rome watch one Man U CL game where Rooney doesn't score and then proclaim him a flop?

RTE are always at this, making silly judgements based on a single CL game.

They've been saying that about him for years in all fairness.

Lucio and Samuel have been absolutely immense tonight.

Zanettis job on Messi has been perfect.

I think you are missing the point.

They have been saying it based on the game or two they see of him in the CL for years - it doesn't make it more of an informed opinion.

reminds me of something I read last week :pac:
With all the sadness and trauma of "The ASH CLOUD"going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting ......him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started

They're right about Ibra. Look how much money. What was it? 40mil Euros plus Eto'o?

This is one of the greatest displays of team defending I've ever seen. Its actually incredible how well drilled and well set up they are. Theres nothing last gasp about it, Barca haven't cut them open or gotten even one good ball into the box, not to mind score. I'm in awe of it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 54,682 ✭✭✭✭Headshot

I reckon one of the barca players will kick out in frustration and get sent off
