Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody know how to remove/lessen noise from pictures?

    I have Photoshop CS4 / Picasa / Olympus Master.
I have Raw's for all the files.
    Here is an example:

I can't hear a thing so you obviously did a good job :pac:

In all seriousness, I use the Noiseware Professional plugin for CS4. Very happy with the results from it

+1 for that. Made by a company called Imagenomic, I've tried a few and find It's the best of the bunch.

For me, Lightroom Luminance NR does the best job. In photoshop you can use the noise reduction filters but I never found them to be as effective.

Noise luminance can soften if you push the slider up too far, try not go beyond 50-60. A neat way to counter it is a quick sharpen in ifranview after reducing the noise. As the sharpen tool in there doesn't seem to create noise and it's just the one click. Try it :)
