Ok folks. From the 19th of May 2010 at 18:00 for six weeks we will be running our Introduction to Kayaking sessions. If you are from Dundalk, Living in Dundalk or indeed near Dundalk or you just generally like Dundalk and have an interest in Kayaking then give us a shout. We will take you out in our club boats and show you the basics of yaking in the hope that you will find your sea legs and take up this very rewarding sport full time. All gear is provided with the exception of Wet Suits and an old pair of runners. You basically need something to keep you warm and an old pair of runners you dont mind getting wet. It is set to be great craic and is better than spending a Tuesday evening on the couch. :) Course runs for six weeks. Membership for the club for first time members is €100. This will include the use of club gear and kayaks as well as membership to the Irish Canoe Union and your ICU assessment for your Kayaking Level 2. Spaces are limited so it will be a case of first come first served and in the event of too many willing peeps we will run a second course later in the summer. We will be working off both rivers and the sea and there will be a nice variety of water grades presented to help you on your way and all in the name of fun ! :)
I hope to see you all very soon
