Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am ditching my shimano pedals, very hard to unclip and they seem to be quite heavy.Though weight is not a big concern, even on the low setting its still quite hard to unclip. My right knee sometimes gives me trouble, motorbike accident about 10years ago.

I don't know about the road pedals, but the shimano mtb pedals have allot of adjustment. Have you tried loosening them?

it could be the way your unclipping i twist to the side, and its fairly easy are they the shimano spd sl.

A you looking for advice on replacements? If so try speedplays. Lots of float and easy to get in and out. Make sure to adjust them before the first spin, there really is such a thing as too much float.

If you're already on SPD pedals, there are a set of multi-release cleats available. Might make a difference to the knee...
