    My 97 1.0cc fiesta started making a really loud knocking sound when I turned a corner today, it stopped after 10seconds and I continued on driving, it was fine for about 20 mins driving on the flat then the noise happened again and it just came to a stop. When I depress the clutch it sounds ok but release it it makes the really loud whirring and knocking noise. It starts ok I'm guessing its clutch/gear box problem but dont know specific problem. Its a garage job for tomorrow hoping it wont cost much to repair/replace whatever they have to do with it. Passed its NCT last year so a bit annoyed guess with old cars thats what you get.
