Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hello there.

I thought it would be a good idea to put this up incase any of you have a dvd/cd-rom drive that is not working if so this is a main fix for the problem enjoy. and follow instructions to the T.

is your pc dvd/cd-rom drive player not working ? even after you go into device manager and you see a yellow exclamation mark on the dvd drive and you uninstall it and restart your pc it is still there and the dvd drive will still not work, well here is the fix for vista 32/64-bit/ windows 7 32/64-bit
i wanted to share this with you as it is a 100% fix for this problem. for windows xp click the windows button and click run and type in regedit "IN THE RUN BOX" the rest is the same as follows....

    EULA
IT IS AN EASY FIX, BUT I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSABLE FOR ANY MISTAKES YOU MAKE. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW AND YOU WILL BE GRAND.

click the windows start button (the button on the bottom left of your desktop) click that and then in the search box type in REGEDIT and click the enter button on the keyboard.
    you will see...as follows
    computer
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    HKEY_USERS
    HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG

RIGHT WE NEED TO CLICK THE ARROW BESIDE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
THEN CLICK THE ARROW BESIDE SYSTEM
THEN CLICK THE ARROW BESIDE CURRENTCONTROLSET
THEN CLICK THE ARROW BESIDE CLASS

YOU WILL SEE A LIST OF NUMBERS AND LETTERS. OK ALL YOU HAVE TO DO HERE IS FROM THE TOP GOING DOWN LOOK FOR
{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} left click this code IF THIS CODE IS NOT SHOWING A DVD-CD ROM ON THE RIGHT OF THE SCREEN THEN IT WILL BE ONE ABOVE OR UNDER IT (ALL YOU NEED TO LOOK FOR IS THE ONE THAT SAYS DVD/CD-ROM DRIVES AND DELETE THE UPPERCASE AND LOWERCASE FILTERS THERES ONLY TWO OF THEM. WHEN YOU SEE THIS LINE OF CODE LEFT CLICK ON IT DO NOT CLICK THE ARROW AS WE DONE BEFORE JUST CLICK ON THE CODE AND ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN YOU SHOULD SEE DVD/CD-ROM DRIVES AT THE TOP.

OK SO ALL YOU HAVE TO DO HERE IS RIGHT CLICK UPPERCASE FILTERS AND DELETE THAT AND THEN LOOK FOR LOWERCASE FILTERS AND DELETE THAT AS WELL. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DELETE ANYTHING ELSE BE CAREFULL JUST FOLLOW THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS AND YOU WILL BE FINE. WHEN YOU HAVE DELETED UPPERCASE FILTERS AND LOWERCASE FILTERS EXIT OUT OF THE REGISTRY (JUST CLICK X) AND RESTART YOUR PC OR LAPTOP AND WHOLLA YOUR DVD DRIVE IS WORKING AGAIN.
THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS ARE EXACTUALLY HOW TO FIX THIS DVD PROBLEM SO I WOULD TAKE CAUTION IN THE REGISTRY SO YOU DO NOT DELETE THE WRONG THING THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AS THEY ARE ABOVE AND YOU WILL BE FINE.
