Bright Light low in the sky over Limerick in NW direction.

    For the last 20 minutes there's been a very bright light in the NW direction in the sky. Just now its covered by thin cloud. This light is too bright and low to be a star. It might re-appear later. Please post if you see it.

    probably an irridium flare. when the sun bounces off the solar panels of an orbiting satelite.

    Isn't Shannon airport North West?

    Anyway, you won't be the first in the LC forum to claim to have seen mysterious lights.

    Why don't you call into ATC when you see the lights next and let us know what they say?

    Ya I saw the same light for the past few nights looks like a satelitte to me have to say
