Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Munster Poker Open Postponed - Game change

    The Munster Poker Open, due to be held on May 22/23, has been postponed to future date. The reason is that May 22 is the date for the televised double-header of the Heineken Cup Final at 5pm, followed by the ChampionsLeague Final at 7.45pm. As organisers we have canvassed several of our customers and found that very few of them would be attending because of thesports action.
    Clearly, it is not in anyone’s interest to host an event hat we know will be very poorly attended and so have taken the decision to efer the event until later in the year.

    Instead we will be hosting a “Sports and Poker night”. This will consist of big screen coverage of the Heineken Cup Final starting at 4pm, followed by coverage of the Champions League Final. A full bar service will be available all night. A betting service will also be provided on site.For those with only a passing interest in the soccer we will have a €30+€5 uper-satellite freezeout at 7pm for Sunday’s €120, €5k guaranteed game.

    There will be cash tables on demand all night and sit and go’s available all night also. This promises to be a great fun night of sports and poker and all are welcome.For anyone that has already bought a ticket or won a satellite seat the Following options are available:

    The cash can be used as part-payment for a Ladbrokes Festival ticket, with
    a guarantee of availability.

    The cash can be used at the sports and poker weekend in any way you choose ncluding payment for accommodation, entry to Sunday’s game or for cash chips.
