Outboard Insurance

My uncle has a timber boat (punt type) which he uses to go out into the bay fishing on fine days as he is retired. Recently a few outboard engines have been stolen from other boats at the moorings. I want to know is it possible to insure an outboard engine against this or would it come down to boat insurance??

AFAIK, it is part of the boats insurance. Ask a broker or insurance company directly for the definitive answer though.
