Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The ones in bold are the ones who I don't believe are worth that amount of money.

Beckham, Ronaldinho and Henry are really past their prime imo.

Very subjective question. Nobody does something that really deserves a 20-30 million wage, however from the ridiculous money that they generate from their activities both on and off the pitch, it is understandable this has happened.

True, but in our world of football it happens. They obviously aren't worth it in real life terms but neither are any other Entertainers, Actors, Musicians etc. Just the way things are.

In footballing terms are they worth it.

I'm fairly certain that's out of date.

Those figures are gross and the vast majority is sponsorships, not the players wages.

If you're talking marketing, then Beckham certainly is worth that money.

Beckham's "wages" from LA Galaxy/MLS is not that much. I think I read it is around $10 mil. The rest probably is from endorsements, plus he gets a cut of Beckham shirts sold and a percentage of gate receipts in LA.
