EI7DAR Flight tracking

    We have upgraded the flight tracking on the EI7DAR website.

    It now shows the flight data on a Casper interface, which shows a very slick looking map that will display the livery of different airlines of each plane, adjust he display from Day/Night and show animated runway lights and airplne tail lights.

    The data is delayed by 15mins, A live feed can be got directly from Casper by clicking the icon and subscribing for €5 per month, which isnt bad value when you consider the quality of the mapping and the cost of a SBS box etc.

    EDIT: The coverage should improve in the next few weeks as a base antenna is installed on a hilltop location

    excellent stuff :) i have a savage view out of the office window here in the southeast of Ireland looking directly over to the UK and Heathrow.. so its nice to look up and see where flights are coming from, and going to when i see the vapor trails up there on a clear day :D
