    Hi Folks,

I was in Scotland recently, and I came across Jose Cuervo margarita mix.

    It's excellent stuff.

    Makes really nice Margaritas.

Plus you only hve to add Tequila, (no need to add triple sec), so you can enjoy a good few, without going on your ear after 4!!!

Has anyone seen it here. I'm based in North Dublin.

If you see it...pick up a bottle. Its non-alcoholic btw.

    Thanks,

    Brian

Have you been able to find this anywhere in Dublin? Thanks

I have not seen it in this country... Personally convenience aside, I would rather make my own.

Roses lime, soda water, some real lime (or bottled lime juice) and then Tequila and tripple sec.

Superquinn used to do similar mixers though, I have not seen them in a while.

Dunnes have it too, can't remember the price though. It's not non-alcoholic though, it's 10% abv.

    Thanks Nialler.

Although the one I was drinking in Edinburgh was non-alcohlic, 90% sure :).

    90% non alcoholic. :P

It would have to have a little alcohol cause of the Triple Sec (or whatever they put in the mix).

I dont see the point in this if there's no tequila in it.

its basically a bottle of triple sec with lime juice in it right?

It is for people who are either too lazy to make their own, or lack the confidence to do so.
No offence to the OP of course but for me I would not use it. My wife on the other hand always wishes she could get sweet and sour mix (or just sour mix) and all kinds of mixers that can be made yourself very easily.

What's in Dunnes/Tesco etc has alcohol in it which is absolutely horrible, the one you want is just the mixer, I've gotten this in Molloys last year, not sure if they still have it. It's not Jose Cuervo brand, can't remember the brand but it's an exact match for what you're looking for, they have both Margarita mix and Sweet & Sour mix.

You're quite right Nialler, the one in Dunnes in 10%.

I bought a bottle of it last week.

I think you're meant to drink it on its own....... which is kinda ridiculous.
Why drink 10% proof margaritas !?!?

Anyhoo, I'm going to mix it with real Jose Cuervo and hopefully it tastes nice :)
