Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

picked up a white adaptor (new) in game today, set it up but it keeps dropping the connection, my friends black one works fine, and all other wifi devices in the house are fine, so its not my connection.

    help?

Just want to add that it's actually powering off (no light) as opposed to disconnecting (red light) and I've tried it in all USB ports

    have you tried returning it?

What type is your home wifi network? The black one is for the faster N type wifi networks (a/b/g/n) whereas the older white one only supports a/b/g wifi.

my home network is a/b/g. I can return it, but i wanted to be sure that its faulty first and not something that i'm doing wrong.

does it sound defective? or is this problem common? i've tried googling it but nothing similar comes up

probably, your best bet is to bring it into the room with the wifi router plug it in and monitor it to see if the same symptoms arise so that you can rule out it being too far from the wifi router. (this is more so that when you bring it back you can say you at least tried it as they may say that you just have it to far away)
