Can I have my account locked/closed?

    I changed my email address to a fake email for security reasons. As a result it says "awaiting email verification" before I am able to post. So since I can't verify the email I can't post anymore and therefore I'd like to abandon this account. Will I be allowed to set up a new account without being labelled a re-reg and immediately banned?

    you do realise that when you create a new account you will have to provide an email address and respond to the email confirmation so, if you use a fake email you'll be in the same boat?

    i was going to set up an email account I would use once and then once I activited the account I would never use that email again
