I love the toilets in the Ilac centre, there definately in the top five of my fave public toilets in Dublin city centre.Theres never a queue, always nice and clean, paper towels and decent hand dryers.

I also love that pagoda shop down near Peter Marks. They have the best collection of incense in the whole of dub.

I like the little chapel and I dearly miss the Soda Fountain.

Ah that is so nice, that you have nice things to say about the ILAC. I passed by that shop Barrats earlier, about 2. It's a pity there had to be trouble there, it could even happen on the southside.

I can't understand why there is another Dunnes, just opposite Barrats. It doesn't seem to be as well stocked as the other one.

Yes, I remember the soda fountain too...

The ILAC was one of the earliest shopping centres, so give it a break!

Hope the guy that was injured was OK.

CORK is my favourite city, not Dublin.............

Cork is a town, not a city

Having worked right across the road from the Ilac for a couple of months, I can vouch that it sees it's fair share of crime and scumbags. About every 2-3 days you'd see a couple of Gards legging it in, cars pulling up all that. Security are bang on though, always ringing the local shops if known shoplifters are spotted in the shopping center walking towards other shops, their cameras can see up and down most of Parnell street, Henry street and Moore street.

Can't walk through there without hearing some poor kid getting smacked by their inept knacker parents.
