Thrash is correct. Although I heard people saying "It should be called trash..." many times.

Not too thrashy anymore, but I love Sepultura (earlier stuff particularly). Cavalera Conspiracy and Soulfly too, if they count.

Out of the "Big Four" I could only really tolerate Slayer and Anthrax, not a Metallica fan, and Megadeth's vocals were what mainly drove me away from them.

Municipal Waste and Toxic Holocaust are pretty good too.

I suppose it's pushing the "thrash" genre a bit - but they dont really fit into death metal IMHO as they are too melodic, thats why I always referred to them as thrash i suppose
