Modern living isn't always straight forward and therefore there are times when people need advice. Advice can be out of reach to people on the open market so the Citizens Information Centres provide a vital resource in difficult times. There is a widespread network around the country.

Citizens Information Board list of centres which basically house the various aspects of advice people might look for including:
Flac volunteering - Free Legal Advice Centres give free legal aid to people who can't afford to pay for private legal advice.
    Money Advice and Budgeting Services
They also need volunteers to help with the administration of the offices.

For anyone interested in architecture out there volunteering Ireland has a plug for Open House Dublin where volunteers help present an individual building to visitors.
