Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Found this very interesting, and felt like sharing:

    Article wrote:
Third party peripheral firm Datel’s antitrust lawsuit against Microsoft will proceed after a US District Court rejected the Xbox maker’s motion to dismiss the case.
The court's ruling permits Datel to proceed with five of the six claims it made in a suit centred on Microsoft’s monopolization of the Xbox 360 accessory market.
The suit stemmed from Microsoft’s decision to lock out unlicensed memory cards on the Xbox 360, a move that prevents customers from exercising their freedom of choice, according to Datel.
The court dismissed Datel’s claim against Microsoft for monopolization of the console market on the grounds that the peripheral maker is not a direct participant in the sector.
"We're gratified that the case will proceed and Datel looks forward to re-establishing the benefits of competition in the accessory market for all Xbox 360 users,” said Daniel Asimow, a litigation director at Howard Rice who argued the motion on Datel's behalf.
UK-based Datel is being sued seperately by Microsoft for allegedly infringing upon a number of game controller patents.

I find it hilarious that this hasn't been done sooner... It's only a matter of time before the turbo controller is back on the xbox.... LOL!

If it turns out that MS are indeed breaking the law then why is it that it's not OK to block peripherals but it is ok to block games unless they've been licenced by MS?

I think it's got something to do with patent rights or something... It came up on a webpage before, I'll do some rooting tomorrow and see can I bring it back up :)

They have a case though, I wouldn't be surprised if they win.
