Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

my daughter applied for a new passport by post office express. We tracked the application yesterday and it was at stage 2 checking. Today it has reverted to stage 1 received and registered!! She is planning to travel on the 10th of May and they don't answer the phone. Anyone who works in the passport office prepared to advise?

To be honest I would not take a chance with these guys, I would be in there today to talk to someone face to face. Even though you ordered via Express post it can be fast tracked in the office for urgent cases. I was in there last week and saw numerous people in your situation (not necessarily the online part going backwards) and they were pleading for it to be rushed and collected in the office.

Reported in the paper the other day that passport express now takes 15-20 days

Notices are up in Post Offices aswell that Passport Express isn't as Express as it used to be.

If you're worried I think there's little option but to call in in person.

Hey guys, I did as advised and emailed them with little hope of reply. To their credit, they just replied saying her passport had been printed and would be posted tomorrow Friday. So much for the four stage tracking facility but what a relief for my daughter!! Thanks for the advice. George.
