Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone have travel insurance that covers your bike when you're going on a cycling holiday?

What travel insurance companies do people find good?

I went with TravelInsurance Direct Ireland. Annual MultiTrip E. This covers going abroad on cycle holidays. Most of the other policies had exclusions for trips where cycling was the main purpose.
Nothing I found actually covered the bike for damage/loss. Baggage limits are all low and the bike is counted as a single item.

You may be covered already if you have the bike listed in the specified all risks of your home insurance policy.

Very few travel insurers will cover a bike, even less if you tell them that cycling is the main purpose of the trip.
