Is it possible to accept the invite away from the xbox as i wont be near it for a week if i cant put me down for the 49ers

Right going to join now but how do i do that? Im on the franchise website on my pc but it's locked do i need to get a invite?

I have to invite you to the league even though I have it set to allow people to join who have the password.

Also, it seems you can only do it on the xbox.

Currently just playing my Lions franchise. Will send you the invite asap.

Just had an unbelieveable conference final against the Packers in my Lions franchise. 7-3 up I returned a kick off for a touchdown, couldn't believe it. Was over the moon. 14-3 up. I kicked the ball to them. Guess what happened?? They returned it for a touchdown:mad:. I thought no prob i'm still on top. They kicked it off, I went on a run.FUMBLE. Score went from 7-0 to 17-14 in a minute. I wasn't over though, the exact same thing happened later in the match except the opposite way round, but I won't bore you with the story. Won 51-38 in the end. All-Pro as well in case you're wonderin bout the 2 kickoff returns:cool:

One thread is enough for Madden 11 in here to be honest. Best thing to do is open a separate thread in the Consoles or Events and tournament section in games section. Ideally a sub forum created for Fantasy Football and Football related games would be handy but if we open another thread relating to Madden 11 another one will open etc etc.

Best thing to do is add the heading to your post like my example.

Also a problem I seem to experience is on long plays, the start of the play is missing from the replay. Any way around this?

In my 2nd season with the Lions, I somehow managed to get them to the superbowl. Regular season record was 9-7. Steelers tore me apart though .

Starting my third season now, just beat the texans by 7 points.

Im not in a major rush for it or anything. Just want to keep everyone up to date and find out when we can start. I dont mind waiting until everyone is available. I know that you are away for a while and can't join, so I was just seeing like when you would be back so we could have it ready and such.

I have already sent it to you. You have to go to xbox live to accept it and then you can look at the franchise on the website.

What has the quality of play been like online for others out there? I'm on a 15 Meg line with the cable plugged directly in, not sharing my bandwidth and it still sucks. Kicking the ball is impossible, I can't even score the point after touchdown thanks to it!

Kicking is a very difficult skill. I like to kick off so I can gauge where I have to press A for the bar to stop so when im attempting the PAT I have a better idea when to press the button.

Me and Junior D tried to get a game online going and it simply would not let us play each other. Lots of people complaining about it. Don't know if the problem will be in the franchise.

As for getting the franchise started I propose a draft date of the Monday 4th of Oct. at 9pm. This is the only time that suits everyone so far. Any earlier and we will lose out on two people for the draft.

PMME you gamertag and I will add you as soon as possible. Should be able to get the draft done before you are away and then you could get a few games in, probably not a whole season, still interested? And then you could come back after the three weeks and take the same team. Probably only miss 3 games

If anyone is going away for a long period of time, they can leave the franchise and then rejoin when they return.

The games can either be simmed or the computer plays

How exactly does it work? Presumably after the draft our teams schedules are created. So we can see in what order we have to play our games. Do we have to all play at the same pace? Or say if I know I'm going somewhere can I play on a few games so I don't fall behind. If the opponent is willing to play that is.

If not I'd be happy for either CPU to play or for it to be simmed.

Can someone tell me about catching an interception in Madden 11. I downloaded the demo last bight and time I tried to intercept my mates pass my defence dropped the most basic straight forward catches. I pressed Y (xbox) as it says but nothing different. Very annoying I could not steal possession.

It's happened to me loads. It looks like they deliberately made it harder becuase it was too frequent in the last games. It is kind of crap when the ball is hung up in the air and theres nobody else in sight then your jackass player spills the ball. very annoying
