Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Using sun beds while having laser hair removal

I've started getting a treatment of laser hair removal done but my beautican has advised me not to use sunbeds while I'm getting it done.
I'm wondering if I keep the area covered while I'm on the sun bed if this'd be ok.
Has anyone done this before?? I need some advice:confused:

Then take your beauticians advice and don't use sunbeds at all until she says it's ok to do so.
Or perhaps someone has done it and knows better than me.

I definitely wouldnt chance it - who knows what mite happen! they advise for your own good so take the advice because if something goes wrong you're on your own.
    Just get a spray tan!

I think yer prob right! the reason they don't advise is it is because the area getting the laser treatment if this is tanned it can react with the laser and cause skin pigmentation, that's why I wondered if I covered the area it wouldn't get tanned so I'd be ok, but prob safer to not risk it just in case.

    Hi,

My sister had the laser treatment done on her underarms and she told me that the lighter (non tannned) the skin, the better/quicker the laser treatment works....I would stick to some fake tan for the time being and when you are finished your laser treatment hop on your sunbed! :)

If your beautician advised against it, don't do it.
