How many people do you reckon have as much complication with their accounts as you have had?

This debate started over posters wanted to start afresh with new accounts. I was merely pointing out that due to the behaviour of some posters here that its not really possible.

If someone is acting the eejit on site and decides to stop - to walk away from that, to start again under a new account and just get on with it - contributing, answering, discussing - we probably never hear about it. • if they've done something really good
• if they've broken the rules
• if they need help with something from us

Many just get on with it and enjoy the site. I would imagine that less than 2,000 members on this site know my name or even care. 2,000 members is being generous to myself there.

I appreciate you took time out and that my case is unique but also understand that a certain amount of posters on SF are also unique in the way they post.

Would you believe that our Soccer forum is ONLY one forum and we have over 1,340? So maybe the stuff that happens on soccer doesn't happen elsewhere. If you're not happy with it, either stop posting or reading it or tell us about it.

If you can come to me with a post that says "this is wrong in soccer, here's a few examples of it and here's all the members it's affecting, who also have the same problem with it that I do", then we can certainly look at that and work with the Soccer mods to sort it. However, I haven't seen a post like that about (m)any forums on the site, which says that either the site is working well or people don't care - which do you reckon it is?

Again. on the multiple accounts. There were only two extra accounts. BVC and SOTs =1 account. And again if that facility is available to me via subscription why was it an issue. Paid for the service. So that should be end of discussion.
In addition asked for that to be closed and stay with Fake Locke. So just two accounts and it could have been sorted that simply and quickly enough.
That final one, onestepahead was only up a week. So no big deal. It had no bearing on SF andyet picked up a site ban for merely correcting a lack of modding re trolling following my ban within that forum.
Again from my side my behaviour on SF maybe seen as bad but its only within the confines of what happens there. So again if you tell me my behaviour is bad in there yet good outside surely that should surely tell you something.
We are talking about forum that was closed down a few years ago as well and i have come across posters who say flat out they wont post there any more.
At this stage to be bonest I dont see any progress on this front. I had hoped mods in there had made some effort to sort the situation out while i was but that doesnt seem to have happened.
Can't be helped. And re the dual account issue which apparently is not that big a deal. told one mod/poster about the Fake Locke account but he chose to make a huge fuss about it for his own ends and still does.
Tonight whether it was in jest or not, he said flat out I was posting as another poster. Who was signed up a year before me.
So stuff like that is just annoying. That is trolling plain and simple.

Bringing up the past , that has ZERO to do with this thread, dragging the Soccer Forum continually pisses me right off. You say so much is wrong with the place and your on some crusade to change a place that does not want or need to be changed, we had this at the start of the week with your "Letstalksoccer" debacle, and you made an absolute mockery of yourself.

99.9% of the people in that forum would agree its well run, by excellent mods ( I would have not said this in the past but admittingly, but I have no trouble stating it now). Can you please quit this mission you are on with a forum a whole community of members here love, be it posting in, reading, buying/selling tickets or playing for Boardeaux. The repututation of the forum was poor in the past, and your CONSTANT dragging it up here there and everywhere is absolutely is trying to take it back to those times single handedly.

I am a long time member of that forum, and because I dont post regularly does not mean someone who has been here just under a year can dismiss my usage of the forum I have used for 8 years.

My usage of the forum is reading, I read, I have contributed to that forum in the past but I am content in reading now, if thats ok with yourself kind sir. We facilitated you in the sense that we read your constant PMs, took on board your feedback, and took action as we saw fit. We just didn't happen to agree with you. That's something you need to learn to deal with, not just here but in life as well.

Oh and as for your new utopia of Letstalksoccer?? You installed yourself as emperor and then deleted any posts you didnt like. Then when people didnt follow your line, you deleted the ENTIRE FORUM, every single post (!) and then started again and then threw a spaz attack and handed it to someone else in a huff.

That was about the single biggest online *fail* I have ever witnessed mate. Managing a forum is awful tough and you went about 48 hours before imploding. Yeah, I'm going to take your word over the word of the hardworking and successful Soccer mods.
