Anyone here on Enbrel for arthiritis? Specialists question

    Im on it the past 3 years. Im not happy with my specialist though as he charges me €100 every 6 months to basically fill me out a new prescription. He calls it a check up,it isnt. Theres no physical exams just the general ''how are you'' questions

    I questioned him about seeing me every 6 months as i am now out of work and on a medical card,and he informs me that someone on high tech medicine like enbrel, according to GMC of Ireland, that the patient has to be seen every 6 months.

    How do i go about checking other specialists in my area,ones that accept a medical card. Oh yeah, he doesnt accept a medical card either.
    Add to this his secretary is about as much use as tits on a nun,and you can tell im not anyway bit happy with his service

    Apologies for the rant but it would be interesting to hear some feedback of anyone in my position

    My consultant is €120 every 6 Months + €120 every month for the embrel
