    Thats interesting.

    Why have they not made this public knowledge though.....you'd think the more cards that are compatible the more potential customers they would gain?

    They should do. It uses CUDA, so technically, any CUDA enabled vid card should accelerate.

    I'd imagine the only reason its limited to those cards is to do with some marketing scam - i.e getting people to splash out on those cards on their Mac / PC.

    ANy 8 series and up should work just fine (using the method to edit above)

    Ok I hope this is the last question for this thread.

    My laptop is dead and I need a PC asap and have decided to order one through Dell.

    I ordered a system but through a fault on the website I cannot add a soundcard without a conflict with another offer regarding monitor or speakers, both of which I don't need.

    Simple question is I can add a sound card myself after like the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Sound card and it will work with my old speakers fine right??

    You should be fine adding a sound card so long as there is a free pci slot in the pc (I would be very surprised if there was not at least 1 free slot).

    What did you go for in the end, if you don't mind sharing?
