I am not sure if i am allowed post this here, if I am not I apologise

I am just wondering if anyone has any of these & doesn't need them, if they wouldn't mind passing them onto me as my daughter is collecting them
    I will pay postage.

    thanks

Schools and parents should really know better than to sell their kids soulls for a few crumbs dropped off the table. For an alternative perspective on these schemes, see

I totally agee that schools shouldn't collect these..when do you last see a garda collecting for a squad car?Sadly, so many schools are so badly funded that there is a real need for other ways to obtain materials. Even Eddie Hobbs had to admit that he couldn't get a primary school to operate "in the black" on DES funding.

It is bad alright but if you are shopping in Tesco regardless then there is no difference iykwim.
However if you don't already shop there, it is wrong of schools to ask their children to get their parents to shop there.

I don't know of any school that would ask parents to change shops. The issue is should we be supporting such a scheme that is essentially a free promo for a chain. The Irish Independent ran a token thing but it was discontinued this year after many schools sent the pack back unopened.

If Tesco et al paid just a smidgen more corporation tax, schools could get decent equipment by right, not by charity.
