The Greek telecoms regulator has called into question incumbent OTE's announced changes in its retail ADSL offers. OTE said it was dropping its 8Mbps plan and will upgrade existing customers on it to 24Mbps, while lowering the monthly subscription price. It also introduced higher upload speeds of 512Kbps for the 2Mbps plan. Regulator EET said it had approved changes in OTE's wholesale broadband offering, but the retail changes had not been approved. It called on the company to submit more details on its retail offers to ensure they meet competition regulations.
