    Hi All,

Can anyone tell me if the trip up north is still worth it for baby essentials
nappies, soothers, creams, babygro's etc or if there is little in the difference now compared to last year?

    Thanks,

hey thought I would pass on this information as Asda in the North are having a baby toddler sale at the mo..http://direct.asda.com/asda-babyshop/60,default,sc.html
It will give you an idea if the things you need are any cheaper. There are also a few links to clothing and food. Hope this helps:)

The big savings around a year ago have been reduced with the shops down south trying to compete, there's still big differences to be made when they are running specials up north, you should check tesco and sainsburys website to see if it's worth your while, usually every 2 or 3 months there's great deals to stock up on.

the rate is't the best at the mo but if you do go make sure to stock up on the medicenes etc!

Much cheaper by far for the likes of calpol and karvol. Only thing is they won't let you get multiple of the same medicene items. Some allow 2 boxes of calpol, some allow only 1 so you will need to do multiple transactions etc.
