anyone else unable to start steam since update?

    I get "Fatal error: Failed to load platform modules" when I start it.
    Waiting to hear back from tech support. Followed the suggestions on the steam support wiki (to close it properly (duh) and to check a particularly registry entry). No effect.
    Annoying I wanted to play a couple of games during the weekend.
    Anyone else get this? Anyone fix it?

    Working fine here. Try removing the steam.dll file from your steam folder and see what happens, it's a general solution for most of steams problems.

    Update's annoying. Steam wont maintain my login details anymore...
